When Hermes, the largest dedicated parcel carrier in the UK, decided to change its name to Evri as part of a complete rebrand to enhance its customer services, they needed a sign company that they could trust to carry out the changeover with flawless precision and attention to detail.
Having worked with Hermes for well over 10 years, New Vision was proud to be selected as the signage partner in what was described as a new chapter for the delivery company, with the new logo and brand identity being rolled out across all its locations, vehicles and ParcelShops, without affecting the delivery of more than 650 million parcels a year.
Not least among the client’s requirements was the fact that, for commercial reasons, the nationwide operation to change all exterior signs at the principle locations of the Head Office and three major Hubs had to be conducted under conditions of strict security, ensuring that the new identity was kept confidential until the press launch and reveal date on 11th March 2022.
The clients’ desire for secrecy meant that the necessary planning applications required sometimes lengthy negotiations with local authorities nationwide before consent was eventually granted. Additionally, any new ‘Evri’ signage installed before March 11th was to be then concealed until the reveal date.
Following the press launch, New Vision proceeded to re-brand the client’s 26 remaining depots all across the UK in under twelve weeks.
